  1. Damn, yeah, this is a reality for many writers. Sometimes, I get sick of the same rejection letters but I’ve gotten two that stuck out and were really personal (in a good way that they liked my work). I understand why mags and editors don’t generally give personalized feedback, but still, I feel like it makes the rejection better if they gave us something more to work with to improve on in our writing, along with what they liked.
