Hello Writers! 

I hope you’re having a sweet weekend. It’s monsoon season up here in Colorado and that’s a nice change of pace. 

If you’ve expressed an interest in working one to one with me on your manuscripts – well here you go! An affordable way to develop your book with my help and a small cohort of other writers. You see, I’ve created a new Skool community that is purely for writers working one to one with me. It will be nice and easy for you to navigate. I will only post questions, writing/editing tips, and to stay in touch with the writers there. It will have a maximum of ten writers and less of a social media feel of my other Skool group, Get Creative. 

The initial idea is to offer a simple process where we talk or email each week with what’s going on for you, submit 20-30 pages once a month, I’ll give you a detailed email with my editing notes and revision tips for your specific questions about your manuscript. We’ll also be able to brainstorm your goals both short and longterm, find out what the blocks are, and membership includes a monthly video call or in person consultation.

Finish Your Book!

This is for anyone who has started a book but is now stuck. Get personal professional edits and weekly feedback to develop & finish your manuscript. Think of this as a one to one mentorship on the Skool platform. I’m putting my online manuscript editing and development into one source. It will make it easy to manage, you can leave messages there, sign up for our monthly Zoom calls on the calendar. I’ll be keeping it limited so that you know I have the attention span for your work.

This is personal, hands-on mentorship. Bring me your questions, what’s annoying you, and share some pages. I’ll read your work, give you practical and kind feedback, help you solve those problems, and talk through what’s next to finish the book.

And paintings! I’ve been sending out work and selling online, on the FB marketplace and through Instagram so if ever you see something you like, tell me! I’m all about sharing the work and hoping to find more homes for them all.

I have an artist profile up with the Durango Arts Center and am very happy to be part of their team now. It’s an amazing place, Ben is the Director (as far as I know!) and is himself a multi-media performer, artist, vaudeville. I loved chatting with him and Sarah and got so inspired. I wish I lived there so I could work with them.
